South Florida Influencer “Dreamdoll Brii” Killed in Triple Shooting in Miramar

The South Florida social media community is mourning the tragic death of 21-year-old influencer Briann Johnson, better known online as “Dreamdoll Brii,” after a deadly drive-by shooting in Miramar early Sunday morning.

According to the Miramar Police Department, Johnson was riding in a lime green Lamborghini Urus with two men when a white sedan reportedly pulled alongside the SUV and opened fire, striking all three occupants.

Johnson was pronounced dead, while the two male victims were transported to Miramar Regional Hospital in critical condition. Their identities have not been released.

Surveillance Video Captures the Shooting

Investigators say officers responded to the area of Southwest 27th Court and Sunshine Boulevard after receiving multiple ShotSpotter alerts indicating gunfire.

Preliminary findings suggest the Lamborghini was traveling westbound and slowing as it approached an intersection when the suspects’ white sedan pulled up beside the driver’s side and unleashed a barrage of bullets.

Surveillance footage reportedly shows the Lamborghini continuing through the intersection after the shooting before crashing into a nearby home.

Police have not announced any arrests or identified a motive.

Johnson, who built a following under the TikTok handle @_itgirlbri, was known by many online as “Dreamdoll Brii.”

Following news of her death, thousands of followers and fellow creators flooded her social media pages with messages of grief, prayers, and condolences. Family members confirmed her identity to local media, describing the loss as devastating.

Her death has sparked another conversation about gun violence affecting young people, even those who have built successful public platforms online.

Neighbors Thought the Gunfire Was Fireworks

Because the shooting occurred during the Fourth of July holiday weekend, several nearby residents initially believed the loud pops were fireworks.

“It’s a little nerve-wracking for no reason really,” neighbor Carlos Regueiro told CBS News Miami. “There’s no reason for that type of behavior on the Fourth of July when we’re all trying to come together for something as big as 250 years of freedom.”

Residents only realized the seriousness of the situation after seeing the crashed Lamborghini and the heavy police response.

Miramar police continue to investigate the deadly shooting and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
