Adrien Broner Sued Over Alleged Sexual Battery, Assault, and Defamation

Former boxing champion Adrien Broner is facing a civil lawsuit involving multiple serious allegations, including sexual battery, assault, defamation, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, stemming from incidents that allegedly occurred in Los Angeles earlier this summer.

According to a report by TMZ, the lawsuit was filed by a woman identified as Havana Saint, who claims she met Broner during an after-party on June 2. In the complaint, Saint alleges Broner encouraged her to consume alcohol before offering her a place to stay after she became too intoxicated to drive.

Allegations Detailed in the Lawsuit

According to the lawsuit, Saint alleges that Broner repeatedly pressured her to engage in sexual activity despite her telling him “no” multiple times. She further claims she informed Broner that she was not interested in men and preferred women. The complaint alleges Broner exposed himself and attempted to force sexual contact by grabbing her hand.

The lawsuit also describes another alleged encounter the following day. Saint claims Broner became upset that they had not been intimate and allegedly attempted to drag her upstairs. She says she refused his advances.

According to the complaint, the two crossed paths again on June 8 at a separate livestream house before Broner allegedly encouraged her to return to his Encino residence. Saint claims Broner again attempted to initiate sexual activity after she declined.

In addition, the lawsuit alleges Broner poured ice water on her during a livestream, causing her humiliation and emotional distress.

Defamation Claims

Although Saint alleges that she and Broner never had sexual relations, she claims Broner later made statements during a livestream suggesting otherwise.

The lawsuit also names streamer Nurideen Shabazz, better known as DeenTheGreat, alleging he made defamatory remarks about Saint. Streaming platform Kick is also named in the lawsuit, with claims of negligence.
