A newly surfaced video is giving the public another glimpse into Sean “Diddy” Combs’ life behind bars.
On Tuesday (July 7), TMZ published a short video showing the former Bad Boy Records founder walking through the recreation yard at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey, where he is currently serving his prison sentence.
In the brief clip, Diddy appears noticeably different from his public image before incarceration. The 56-year-old music executive sports a full gray beard and a more muscular build while casually walking around the prison grounds. He is seen wearing a white T-shirt, khaki shorts, a matching baseball cap, and black-and-white Nike sneakers.
According to TMZ, a source familiar with Diddy’s routine says he takes a two-hour walk around the prison yard each afternoon, typically between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., when weather conditions allow. The report also claims he regularly wears his cap, listens to music on a prison-issued tablet during his walks, and has been assigned to work in the prison chapel.
Diddy is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was originally scheduled for release on June 4, 2028. However, after receiving sentence credit, his projected release date was reportedly moved up to April 25, 2028.
Although his criminal case has concluded, Diddy continues to face numerous civil lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct.
One of the latest lawsuits was filed anonymously by a former child actor, identified only as “John Doe,” who alleges that he met Diddy at a Hollywood networking event in 2007 while he was still a minor. The lawsuit claims Diddy allegedly isolated him during the event and sexually assaulted him.
Diddy’s legal team has denied the allegations, maintaining his innocence against the civil claims.
The newly released prison footage has quickly circulated across social media, with many users commenting on Diddy’s physical appearance and apparent daily routine while incarcerated. Some noted his noticeably grayer beard and stronger physique, while others questioned how life inside prison appears to have changed the once high-profile music mogul.
As Diddy continues serving his sentence, legal challenges outside of prison remain ongoing, with additional civil cases expected to move through the court system in the months ahead.
